What is an Inverter?
An Inverter Drive is a device to convert three or single-phase AC commercial power supply to DC. This is achieved with an inverter section to produce AC variable frequency voltage from this converted DC. This AC variable frequency voltage can then be used for speed control of three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors.

How to use a three-phase motor with a single-phase supply
If you need to run a three-phase lathe or air compressor but only have a single-phase supply, you may be in for some good news. Using a single phase (230 Vac) variable speed drive (VSD) it is possible to produce three-phase 230 Vac that can run a three-phase motor, provided that your motor has marked on its motor plate “230/380 Vac”. Our VSDs can run up to a 5,5 kW motor. This allows you to run three phase lathes, air compressors, fans, large pumps, etc.
